A Caring Economy! More Jobs! Climate Action! A Pathway to Citizenship! Making the Rich Pay Their Fair Share!
President Biden addresses nation about Build Back Better Infrastructure package

“Kayaktivists” ask Sen. Manchin to not sink the BBB package. He set up a meeting with them.
House Speaker Pelosi speaks about Climate Action in Infrastructure Package
Infrastructure Update:
We are on the threshold of a generational opportunity to invest in our communities, creating jobs through climate and a caring economy, lower costs through child tax credit and negotiating prescription drug prices, and making the wealthiest pay their fair share.

The President won the most votes of any candidate in American history running on investments that will change the game for the middle class.

All of the Build Back Better agenda is popular. People need roads and bridges to get to work but they also can’t do it without access to care for children, seniors, and people with disabilities. People also know our country and economy can’t succeed without fighting climate change and providing a path to citizenship for essential workers.
We’re able to move forward because PEOPLE are organizing!
And to win in these decisive battles ahead, we need to keep organizing.
Take Action.
This is it. This is our climate moment. This “code red” moment for humanity and our planet will define our generation and generations to come. Congress must pass the Build Back Better Act and meet the Climate Test. Read More
Thousands gather at Women’s March rallies across U.S. to protect Roe v. Wade

“The Supreme Court on Dec. 1 is to consider the constitutionality of a Mississippi law that bans abortions after 15 weeks of gestation, nearly 10 weeks before a fetus can survive outside the uterus. Roe v. Wade protects the right to an abortion before the point of fetal viability. If the law is allowed to stand, it will further empower other states to pass similar restrictions.” Read More
Poll after poll has shown that the American public on both sides of the aisle supports a path to citizenship for immigrants and wants Democrats to use every political and legislative tool available to them to deliver concrete results this year.
The filibuster gives a minority of Senators — Republican senators who represent 43 million fewer people than Senate Democrats — the power to prevent the Congress we elected from passing critical legislation. Senate Republicans will filibuster the Women’s Health Protection Act, just like they have filibustered vital voting rights bills over the past year –– the decisions we make both at the ballot and at the doctors should be ours alone. There must be swift action to reform the filibuster or everything Congress passes will die in the Senate.
It’s important that we raise our voices to support Democrats in unrigging our tax code and building back together more equitably. 69% of Americans believe that the wealthy and corporations should pay more of their fair share in taxes, and the Build Back Better agenda only gets more popular when voters are informed that it’s paid for by fairer taxes on those at the top.
Democracy means that voters pick their leaders — leaders do not get to pick & choose their voters. The #FreedomToVote Act will end the Republican’s unfair gerrymandering. To move forward together, we must ensure every American has the right to vote so we can make the promise of our democracy real for us all.
